Survivorship Care

The Brig Center for Cancer care and survivorship is committed to be part of the survivorship process. With the growing number of cancer survivors, survivorship is now becoming recognized as a distinct phase of the cancer care continuum. We are here to assist in identifying important aspects of the patient’s after treatment experience, so we can promote wellness, recovery and manage persistent problems from previous therapy. Coordination of care between our office, the patient’s and the patient’s primary care physician is necessary to achieve this goal. This aspect of care will continue to evolve as we become more knowledgeable and identify programs to assist patients with their survivorship needs.
